The question nobody in council will answer
R95mNinety five million rand was signed off to fix Komani's streets. Residents were shown which roads, what materials, what timeline. That was the deal on paper.
Most of that money is now unaccounted for. The roads it was meant to fix are the same roads it left behind, and every winter the same streets flood the same way they did before the tender was ever signed.
So people stopped waiting. Residents have been mixing their own tar and closing potholes themselves, with borrowed tools and no budget, because a flooding street doesn't wait for a council meeting.
That is the gap between what was promised and what was delivered. Closing it, properly, with accountable spending, is the case for change we're bringing to every ward.

Ethical Leadership · Dedicated Service
We are not a branch office of a national party, dropped in to chase a seat. We are neighbours who watched Komani's money disappear into tenders that never delivered, until we decided to stand for something better ourselves. The three figures in our emblem stand shoulder to shoulder for a reason. Independent voices, carrying each other.
